R.E.A.C.H. Volunteer History

Founding Member of R.E.A.C.H. West and the Special Olympics East Bay Buffaloes, Golf Tournament Logistics Coordinator, East Bay Buffaloes (Special Olympics Team) Coordinator, Annual Track Meet Director, Assistant Track and Swimming Coach, former Head Coach (Soccer, Basketball, Track, Snowshoeing and Swimming).

When my son was diagnosed with autism, I recognized the need for recreational activities to strengthen his muscle coordination. With other families of developmentally disabled children, we founded the East Bay Buffaloes in 1998. I was a board member of Tri Valley R.E.A.C.H. and as our children’s needs evolved when they reached transition/adult ages, we started R.E.A.C.H. West in 2009.
